Camp Compass VOlunteers

June 24-28th from 9am-12pm

Compass Charter School

4667 W Aviator St, Meridian, ID 83642

We get the privilege of opening our doors to the community and our Compass Kids and get 5 days straight to teach them the Bible and pour into the next generation. What an opportunity!

A typical day for our camper starts in the main auditorium where their small group leader is waiting for them and then we watch the Drama Skit, we participate in music time, and a lesson/overview of what we will be learning that day. Then each small group goes through rotations around the campus to games, missions, bible lesson time, snacks, and craft. We will then come back to the main auditorium for music time and an overview/review of what we learned at Camp Compass that day.

Parking

We want to prefer our guests that are coming to Camp Compass so are asking that our volunteers please park in the lot behind Compass Charter school. Please refer to the map above for reference.

The tables will also be there at setup Sunday at Compass Charter from 2pm-5pm.

What is my schedule rotation? We will have lanyards for you to grab your first day that will distinguish you as a leader and also have your rotation schedule on it so no need to memorize. The schedule for each grade is down below.

What is the dress code? We are making sure not to cut a Camp Compass shirt or wear anything that would be considered immodest while volunteering during the week.

Is there food provided? We have an amazing Snack Team lead Brittany Lozano that is providing Iced Coffee and a snack for you to be able to have during the course of the day. Please understand that this is meant to be a snack provided to hold over until we are done. If you think your Youth age helper will be needing more than one snack then have them bring it with them.

Are there bathrooms available? Yes, we will have a specific teacher lounge bathroom for our volunteers to use for convenience, they are in the Junior Camp Hallway.
