Wake Up!

Proverbs 13:4 says “The soul of the sluggard craves and gets nothing, while the soul of the diligent is richly supplied.” God has created work as a good thing for us to do faithfully. More than that, God commonly provides for His people through their diligent work. Laziness and procrastination will only lead to empty stomachs and empty hearts.

“Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.”

Gladys continues to be used mightily by the Lord, using her hands to truly get to work for Him! Today your campers will hear about more unique ways that Gladys ministers to the Chinese, including the children she begins to adopt and care for as her own. But they will also hear about the heartbreaking war that comes to the homefront for Gladys and her children.

Camp Compass kids have been challenged to raise money this week so that we can send Bibles to Pakistan. We have a goal of $7,000 which would be about 1,400 bibles to send to Pakistan. This is a new ministry partner and due to the persecution that occurs in this country we are not going to give specifics of the Pastor’s name or location.

Get creative kids! Some of our kids in the past have found chores around the house, sold their toys or put together a lemonade/bakery stand. Money needs to be in by Friday so we can send it to the Pastor in Pakistan. See below for the video that the students were able to see on Monday.
