Listen Up!

Day 1 of Camp Compass, the campers will learn that in order to be wise they need to listen to God's Word as well as be obedient to God's Word. They will learn from the various crucial stages of Solomon's life as narrated in 1 Kings 3, 4, 9, and 11.

Verse to memorize: “Listen to advice and accept instruction, that you may gain wisdom in the future.”

Proverbs 19:20

Today we meet our missionary study , Gladys Aylward. As a young woman, Gladys had a great desire and determination to go to China as a missionary, but she lacked the training that was typically needed. Today your campers will learn how the Lord used Gladys' desires and His means to bring about an avenue of ministry that she could not have imagined for herself!

Camp Compass kids have been challenged to raise money this week so that we can send Bibles to Pakistan. This is a new ministry partner and due to the persecution that occurs in this country we are not going to give specifics of the Pastor’s name or location.

Get creative kids! Some of our kids in the past have found chores around the house, sold their toys or put together a lemonade/bakery stand. Money needs to be in by Friday so we can send it to the Pastor in Pakistan.

We had to go a little quicker through our stations so some were not able to finish their craft, but we wanted to give you a reference photo for you all.
